RULES & POLICIES
Age requirement: The minimum age to rent or be a passenger on the watercraft is 21 years old.
License requirement: A driving license is compulsory. The motorized pleasure craft card is required if the lessee has one. If the renter does not have a boat card, a temporary license for the duration of the rental can be provided. The tenant agrees to follow all safety instructions presented to him by representatives of Jet Ski MTL Inc.

Security deposit: A security deposit of 750 $ with a credit card is required for the rentals. The deposit is refunded in full after the rental if no damage is found on the watercraft.

Accidents: JetSki MTL inc. is in no way responsible for any accident incurred. To avoid collisions, accidents or damage, keep a minimum distance of ¼ mile from other watercraft. Always keep a minimum distance of 250 meters from the shore. Sailing boats have priority over motor boats. Do not use the boat at full speed constantly, vary the speed. Note that there is no brakes.

Weather: JetSki MTL inc. is not responsible for weather conditions.

Gaz: Our watercrafts are full of gas at the start of the activity and will be refilled at the end of the rental at the charge of the client.

Unavailability of reserved watercrafts: In the event of unavailability of the reserved boat, we will provide the customer with an equivalent boat at no additional cost. In the event of non-availability of the entire fleet, the tenant will have access to a total refund of his reservation or a credit valid for the entire season.

Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice and JetSki MTL inc. may cancel the boat rental as well as refuse any tenant if he deems it necessary. Non transferable and non refundable.

Late arrivals
Late on departure time: The client must arrive 30 minutes before the start of his rental schedule (for signing contracts, inspection, etc.). The rental time cannot be extended in the event of late arrival and no refund or credit will be given. The client is fully responsible whatever the reason for his delay.
Late on return time: Fees of 30$ per 15 minutes increments will be billed in the event of late return of the boats, they will be directly withdrawn from the security deposit.
cancellation and refund
A full refund will be granted for cancellation requests made 72 hours (3 days) before departure.
A rental credit will be granted for cancellation requests between 24 hours and 72 hours (1 to 3 days) before the departure time. The credit can be used for a subsequent rental which must take place a maximum of 31 days from the day following the date of cancellation.
No refund will be made for reservations canceled less than 24 hours before departure.
DURINg the rental
The renter agrees to have a functional cell phone and to be reachable throughout the rental period
It is absolutely forbidden to leave Canadian waters. Don't go to the United States.
It is forbidden to dock on beaches, docks or marinas other than the place of departure during the rental.
It is forbidden to embark or disembark passengers at a platform other than the one of departure.
It is forbidden to meet other boaters to tie the rental boat to another boat.
It is forbidden to leave garbage and vandalize the boat. Additional fees may be charged and will be deducted from the security deposit.
Passengers present on departure must be present on return.
The client must respect the maximum capacity of the different boats.
The client is personally responsible for his guests.
You must always navigate in the center of the river, inside the buoys in order to avoid damages caused by the rocks.
Renters are subject to the same laws that govern driving with regard to alcohol consumption.
Make sure at least one person stays on the boat. (Do not all go swimming in the water at the same time.)
breakage, loss and theft
The renter will be billed for any breakage inside or outside the watercraft. An inspection will be carried out on the departure and return of the watercraft in the presence of the tenant. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
